De opdracht betreft het leveren van een dienst op het gebied van technisch beheer en onderhoud van werktuigbouwkundige en elektrotechnische installaties (hierna: E&W-onderhoud) van gemeentelijk vastgoed binnen de gemeente Schiedam. De Opdrachtnemer is verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren van preventief, correctief, planmatig en storingsonderhoud aan de E&W-installaties, inclusief wettelijke keuringen, het bijhouden van relevante installatiedocumentatie, en het adviseren over en uitvoeren van vervangings- of verbetermaatregelen. De gemeente beheert een vastgoedportefeuille van circa 139 objecten, variërend van kantoorgebouwen, theaters en musea tot sportaccommodaties, gymzalen, wijkgebouwen en enkele bijzondere panden.
