Die bestehende projektionsbasierte 5-Seiten-CAVE des HLRS soll durch eine 5-Seiten CAVE mit LED-Wänden ersetzt werden. Die lichte Höhe der CAVE soll 2,7m, die Breite 3,6m - 4,5m, die Tiefe 2,36 - 3,6m betragen. Das Trackingsystem muss in die LED-Module integriert werden und aus mindestens sechs Kameras bestehen. Zusätzlich wird eine Einfahr- und Befestignungsmöglichkeit für einen bestehenden Fahrsimulator gefordert.
