Een volledig overzicht van de diverse vakgebieden is te vinden onder het tabblad 'Kwalificaties' in het Mercell platform. Via de Marktplaats kan iedereen, zelfstandige ondernemers of leveranciers van specialisten, die aan de inschrijvingsvoorwaarden voldoet een kandidaat aanbieden voor een opdracht voor tijdelijke arbeid. De Marktplaats Inhuur is gepubliceerd als Dynamisch Aankoop Systeem (DAS) op grond van de Aanbestedingswet 2012. Vanaf 18 april 2016 geldt hiervoor de Richtlijn betreffende het plaatsen van overheidsopdrachten (2014/24) en daarmee zal de Marktplaats Inhuur onder het regime van die richtlijn vallen. De Marktplaats Inhuur is bedoeld voor opdrachten met een waarde begroot boven € 70.000,-- Onder dit bedrag kán de NPO besluiten om rechtstreeks een uitvraag bij 1 opdrachtnemer of organisatie te doen.
