Upphandlingen avser Biblioteksplattform , härefter "Lösningen", för Eskilstuna kommun, härefter ”Beställaren”. Tjänster inom ramen för uppdraget omfattar leverans och införande av ett lösningsstöd för beställarens folkbibliotek och skolbibliotek, inklusive katalogisering, mediehantering, cirkulation, digitala användartjänster, självservicefunktioner, integrationer mot befintliga lösningar samt support, utbildning och förvaltning. Upphandlingen avser en framtidssäker lösning som är tillgänglig för alla på lika villkor och som möjliggör en likvärdig digital service för både folkbibliotek och skolbibliotek. Den nya lösningen ska uppfylla gällande tillgänglighetsstandarder och bättre möta behoven hos beställarens invånare och elever, med särskilt fokus på barn, personer med funktionsnedsättning, seniorer och invånare med annat modersmål än svenska.
