Bei dem Bauvorhaben handelt es sich um die Sanierung des St .- Vincenz - Krankenhauses in Diez in der Adelheidstraße 2. Aufgrund des überalterten Zustandes des Großteils der Zimmer (Duschen und Toiletten auf dem Gang , enge Dreibettzimmer) sowie des Zustandes der allgemeinen Stationsbereiche ist diese Sanierung dringend erforderlich . Derzeit verfügt das Krankenhaus über 154 Betten , die in 67 Zimmern untergebracht sind . Davon sind 97 Betten und 39 Zimmer überaltert bzw. ohne Bäder . Nach Umsetzung der Sanierungsmaßnahmen sollen 136 Betten in 15 Einzelzimmern ( davon 11 Isolierzimmer ) , 106 Zweibettzimmern und 15 Dreibettzimmern zeitgemäß und strukturiert zur Verfügung stehen . Die Umsetzung des Bauvorhabens erfolgt in insgesamt 5 aufeinander folgenden Bauabschnitten. Aus diesem Grund ist ein durchgehendes Arbeiten in den einzelnen Gewerken nicht möglich.
