Die WSW mobil GmbH plant eine teilweise Erneuerung von Fahrschienen der Wuppertaler Schwebebahn. Auf der Landstrecke werden zwei Kurvenbereiche zwischen den Haltestellen Bruch und Hammerstein erneuert. Weiterhin sind zwischen der Haltestelle Zoo / Stadion und Robert-Daum-Platz entlang der Wasserstrecke Fahrschienen in bestimmten Abschnitten zu erneuern. Die Bearbeitung der Bauabschnitte erfolgt während der nächtlichen Betriebsruhe von etwa fünf Stunden der Wuppertaler Schwebebahn. Sperrpausen bzw. Betriebsstillstände sind nicht vorgesehen.
