Αντικείμενο της παρούσας μελέτης είναι ο καθορισμός των ζωνών προστασίας, των πεδίων γεωτρήσεων Κρύας – Κρανούλαςπου συνδέονται και εκφορτίζουν το υποσύστημα Μιτσικελίου και του πεδίου των υδρογεωτρήσεων Λογγάδων, έκτασης 162.16 km2. H Υδρογεωλογική μελέτη ζωνών προστασίας πεδίων γεωτρήσεων Κρύας– Κρανούλας και Λογγάδων, αφορά σε τμήμα του Υδατικού Συστήματος ΜιτσικελίουΒελλά με κωδικό EL0500180 συνολικής έκτασης περίπου 240 km2. Ειδικότερα τα εν λόγω πεδία απαντώνται στο Υποσύστημα Μιτσικελίου (EL050181) σε έκταση περίπου 162,16 km2 (Σύμφωνα με την 2η αναθεώρηση ΣΔΛΑΠ)
