Αντικείμενο της σύμβασης είναι η προμήθεια νέων εφαρμογών και τεχνολογικών μέσων που θα βελτιώσουν τη διαχείριση και λειτουργικότητα του αστικού περιβάλλοντος στις ελληνικές πόλεις. Η υλοποίηση ψηφιακών λύσεων που υποστηρίζονται από τοπικά παραγόμενα δεδομένα στοχεύει σε πιο αποδοτικές, καινοτόμες και υψηλής ποιότητας υπηρεσίες, προς όφελος των κατοίκων, των επισκεπτών και των επιχειρήσεων, ενώ η αξιοποίηση τεχνολογιών για το Διαδίκτυο των Αντικειμένων (IoT) στοχεύει στην ενίσχυση της ζήτησης ευρυζωνικών υπηρεσιών.
