HUS Subcontracting genetic diagnostic tests

This dynamic purchasing system is targeted at the genetic diagnostic test services needed by the various clinics of the HUS Joint Municipal Authority for Specialised Health Care, to the extent that HUSLAB as a producer of diagnostic services does not itself offer them to these clinics. Genetic diagnostic test services procured through this dynamic purchasing system come directly to support clinical patient work and the individual patient's treatment decisions as an assistive source of information. Thus, the content of the service and the substantive accuracy of the results provided have a key role to play for HUS. In addition to HUSLAB, ISLAB (Eastern Finland Laboratory Centre, Joint Authority Enterprise) participates to the dynamic purchasing system and is able to jointly with HUSLAB or alone procure diagnostic genetic services.
