Předmětem veřejných zakázek zadávaných v DNS bude zajištění služby penetračního testování, která je s ohledem na zákon č. 181/2014 Sb., o kybernetické bezpečnosti, ve znění pozdějších předpisů či jeho prováděcích předpisů nutná v oblasti zabezpečení jednotlivých informačních systémů Kritické informační infrastruktury a Významných informačních systémů a provozních systémů. Předmětem veřejných zakázek mohou být i penetrační testy prováděné dle legislativy, která nahradí legislativu dle věty první, či provedení penetračních testů na jakémkoli informačním systému, pokud to Centrální zadavatel (či zadavatel veřejné zakázky v DNS) považuje za vhodné.
