This is a qualification system (DPS) for ground investigation services for Iarnród Eireann-Irish Rail, covering all locations on the Irish Rail network. Qualification System for Ground Investigation Works

A single qualification system for ground investigation services including utility mapping, structural investigations, boreholes (Shell and Auger, Cable Percussion, Rotary Coring, Window Sample), trial pitting, slit trenching, dynamic probing, in-situ and laboratory testing, soil and groundwater sampling, geophysical surveying, groundwater level monitoring, and preparation of factual and interpretative reports. Work must be carried out on the Irish Rail network, often at night under track protection. Service providers must hold Irish Rail approved Personal Track Safety (PTS) certificates.
