Im Zuge der Maßnahme werden verschiedene Querungen, unter anderem einer Autobahn sowie eines Gewässers, technisch anspruchsvoll umgesetzt. Die Verlegung der Leitung erfolgt überwiegend im Graben, in Teilbereichen sind aufgrund eingeschränkter Platzverhältnisse alternative Verlegearten erforderlich. Zusätzlich werden Anpassungen an der bestehenden Infrastruktur vorgenommen, insbesondere die Umverlegung einer Wasserversorgungsleitung einschließlich der Anbindung mehrerer Hausanschlüsse. Entlang der gesamten Trasse wird außerdem begleitend ein Leerrohr mitverlegt. Insgesamt dient das Projekt der Erweiterung und Anpassung des Fernwärmenetzes unter Berücksichtigung der örtlichen Gegebenheiten.
