Die STG Neunkirchen beabsichtigt, für Teile der Ortskanalisation eine Zustandserhebung durchzuführen. Gegenstand ist die Kanalreinigung, Kanal-TV-Befahrung, Schachtinspektion und die Inspektion von Sonderbauwerken. Insgesamt sind rund 29,5 km Kanalnetz zu reinigen und zu befahren. Dabei handelt es sich um rund 1,0 km Regenwasserhaltungen, 2,5 km Schmutzwasserhaltungen sowie rund 26 km Mischwasserkanäle. Die Leitungsquerschnitte betragen zwischen DN200 und DN1800, überwiegend 200 - 400.
