Härnösands kommun och Statens konstråd samverkar kring ett konstnärligt gestaltningsuppdrag i anslutning till ombyggnationen av Nybrogatan i Härnösand. Upprustning av Nybrogatan är en viktig del i ett större stadsomvandlingsprojekt, där kommunen bland annat bygger en ny öppningsbar vägbro (Nybron) mellan fastlandet och Härnön, ser över grönytor samt rustar upp flera andra gatustråk i Härnösands centrum. Målet är att stärka Nybrogatan som paradgata och mötesplats i ett inkluderande, levande och läsbart stadsrum som inte bara fungerar som transportsträcka, utan som ett uttryck för Härnösands identitet och ständiga rörelse.
