Crematorium Technology

This purchase concerns the crematorium technology of the New Vatiala crematorium. In the “New Vatiala Crematorium” project, Pirkanmaan Krematorio Oy (“Pirkanmaan Krematorio”, “the Buyer”) is constructing a crematorium where it will provide a minimum of 3,000 complete cremations per rolling 12-month period with fully electric powered cremation furnace technology.The key objectives for New Vatiala Crematorium are low carbon footprint and environmental friendliness combined with technical advancement and efficiency. The tenderer must include everything necessary in the proposed crematorium technology package so that the crematorium technology is ready for production use connected to the electricity supply system in accordance with the invitation to tender. The tenderer shall include in its Tender a separate and binding price for Maintenance contract. The maintenance agreement price shall include all services required for the proper maintenance and continued operation of the crematorium technology, including relinings, consumables, spare parts, materials, licences, software updates and upgrades, labour, travel, and any other costs specified in or required under the service agreement. The Tenderer shall not submit a separately priced Option 1. The procurement also includes the following option: Option 1. means an identical additional delivery corresponding to the initial Delivery offered by the Tenderer. Option 1 must be offered at the same price and on the same terms as the initial Delivery. Option 1 may be exercised by the Buyer no later than five (5) years from the date of signature of the initial Agreement. The scope, pricing principles and index adjustment mechanism of Option 1 shall remain as defined in the Agreement and procurement documents during this period. After expiry of the five-year period, Option 1 shall lapse unless otherwise permitted under applicable procurement law and separately agreed in writing by the Parties. The subject matter of the procurement and the requirements applicable to it are described in more detail in this invitation to tender and its appendices (see in particular Appendix 2.1).
