Metroselskabet I/S is tendering the M5 Transportation System South (TSS) package, a major expansion of the Copenhagen metro. The contract covers design, supply, integration, and maintenance of a fully automated driverless metro system including rolling stock, signalling, and a control & maintenance centre. The procurement uses a competitive dialogue procedure and includes options for additional vehicles and line extensions. Estimated value is EUR 550 million with a 38-year duration. Only the most financially robust contractors (minimum EUR 1 billion turnover) may apply.
