It will also support the development of novel quantum materials and devices. The dilution refrigerator, reaching less than 20 millikelvin in an unloaded configuration, will have to be equipped with a minimum, 3 Tesla superconducting magnet to allow probing advanced spin physics. It should also allow for sample direct and fibre based optical access. The system should be mountable/mounted on an optical table to allow easy integration with quantum optics experiments.
