Předmětem plnění veřejných zakázek zadávaných v DNS budou obecně dostupné služby související s výrobou dříví v lesních porostech a na odvozních místech ve vlastnictví státu s právem hospodaření VLS ČR, s.p. Uvedené těžební činnosti zahrnují finální výrobu dříví výhradně s využitím harvestorové technologie. Služby související s těžbou dříví harvestorovou technologií zahrnují zejména činnosti těžby dříví harvestory ve všech druzích těžeb, vyvážení dříví na lokalitu odvozní místo (OM) vyvážecími traktory resp. soupravami (forwardery), úklid klestu a manipulaci dříví na OM a další související činnosti. Součástí předmětu plnění je i provedení povýrobních úprav pracovišť (úklid cest a vodotečí, ošetření stromů poškozených těžbou nebo soustřeďováním, sanace erozních rýh, atd.). Zadavatel upozorňuje na nutnost přejezdů mezi jednotlivými pracovišti po zpevněných komunikacích zejména v případech, kdy budou zpracovány nahodilé těžby. V důsledku zpracování i nahodilých těžeb musí dodavatelé počítat s výraznou nerovnoměrností ve výrobě dříví v průběhu jednotlivých měsíců kalendářního roku.
