Gegenstand der Ausschreibung ist die Erneuerung der Gleisanlagen sowie des Straßenraums im Bereich Landgrabenstraße / Gibitzenhofstraße in Nürnberg. Die Baumaßnahme umfasst einen T-förmigen Knotenpunkt mit einem Nord-Süd-Ast (Gibitzenhofstraße) und einem Ost-West-Ast (Landgrabenstraße). Das Projekt wird unter dem Projektnamen „Landgrabenstraße“ geführt. Neben der Erneuerung der Gleis- und Straßenanlagen erfolgt eine Systemumstellung der Fahrleitungsanlage. Darüber hinaus umfasst die Maßnahme den Rückbau der Haltestelle Heynestraße, den Umbau der Haltestelle Landgrabenstraße sowie den Neubau der Haltestelle Melanchthonplatz. Das Projekt ist ein umfangreiches Großprojekt das neben den Arbeiten von VAG und SÖR auch Arbeiten weiterer Spartenträger wie N-Ergie und SUN umfasst.
