Předmětem veřejné zakázky je rekonstrukce čistírny odpadních vod (ČOV) v Příbrami. Jedná se o změnu dokončené stavby ČOV. Samotné objekty určené k umístění (čerpací stanice vratného a přebytečného kalu, termofilní reaktor, nový plynojem, objekt pro zpracování biometanu, rozšíření objektu zahušťování kalu, nová kogenerační jednotka, těžební plynovod, nová dešťová kanalizace, rozšíření zpevněných ploch) jsou novou stavbou. Účelem čistírny odpadních vod je optimální funkce a docílení co nejvyšší účinnosti čištění při použití nejlepší dostupné technologie v oblasti zneškodnění odpadních vod. Plnění je rozděleno na dvě etapy – základní (primárně modernizace a intenzifikace) a rozšířená (primárně energetická soběstačnost), kdy k realizaci druhé etapy dojde pouze v případě zajištění finančního krytí.
