Die Technischen Betriebe Wil (TBW) planen und realisieren einen Fernwärmverbund, der mit Ab-wärme der KVA des ZAB in Bazenheid gespeist wird. Über eine ca. 5 km lange Transferleitung wird die Wärme bis in den Süden der Stadt Wil geleitet und von dort über zwei Hauptleitungen an die Kunden verteilt. Am Standort des alten Schützenhaus Rickenbach wird mittelfristig eine Druckerhöhungsstation erfor-derlich sein. Diese wurde bereits vollständig projektiert und wird (mit Ausnahme der Netzpumpen und zugehöriger Anlagen) bereits heute ausgeführt, inklusive Abgänge zu den Netzästen Wilen und Rickenbach. Für die Pumpen werden Platzhalter vorgesehen, um so deren späteren Einbau zu er-möglichen. Gegenstand der Ausschreibung ist die Lieferung und Montage der Rohrleitungen inkl. den erforder-lichen Komponenten wie Vollstromfilter und Armaturen für den Erstausbau der Druckerhöhungsstation der Fernwärme Wil.
