Das System soll schnelle konfokale Fluoreszenzbildgebung mit hoher Nachweisempfindlichkeit, geringer Phototoxizität und guter späterer Erweiterbarkeit ermöglichen. Das System soll technisch so vorbereitet sein, dass eine Aufrüstung auf 2-Photonen-Anregung erlaubt. Der Laser soll als Option mit angeboten werden.
