Der einzusetzende Spektrumanalysator muss in der Lage sein, Signale über einen großen Frequenzbereich mit hoher Messgenauigkeit und ausreichender Analysebandbreite zu erfassen und auszuwerten. Dabei ist eine hohe Messsicherheit und Reproduzierbarkeit der Ergebnisse sicherzustellen, insbesondere auch bei komplexen oder kurzzeitigen Signalereignissen. Für den Einsatz in wissenschaftlichen Laborumgebungen ist zudem eine kompakte und integrierte Messlösung erforderlich, die einen flexiblen Einsatz in unterschiedlichen Versuchsaufbauten ermöglicht und den Aufwand für externe Zusatzhardware reduziert. Dies dient der Minimierung zusätzlicher Fehlerquellen sowie der Sicherstellung effizienter und konsistenter Messabläufe. Die Beschaffung dient somit der messtechnischen Absicherung von Entwicklungs-, Validierungs- und Forschungsprozessen im Bereich der Hochfrequenztechnik und trägt wesentlich zur Qualität, Nachvollziehbarkeit und wissenschaftlichen Aussagekraft der erzielten Ergebnisse bei.
