Predmetom zákazky je dodanie komplexného systému určeného na efektívnu správu a údržbu pozemných komunikácií v jeho majetkovej správe ako aj pre podporu nadväzujúcich agend v oblastiach dopravného inžinierstva, ochrany životného prostredia a tvorby mestských stratégií. Vzhľadom na úzku prepojenosť jednotlivých súčastí musí byť požadovaný systém dodaný ako integrovaný a konsolidovaný celok pozostávajúci z: dodávky stacionárnych zariadení na meranie vybraných parametrov pozemných komunikácií vrátane montáže a súvisiacich stavebných prác a zabezpečenia servisu a prevádzky po dobu 5 rokov, dodávky vozidlových zariadení určených na zber vybraných údajov o pozemných komunikáciách za jazdy vrátane montáže a súvisiacich stavebných prác a zabezpečenia servisu a prevádzky po dobu 5 rokov, dodávky softvérového vybavenia pre podporu tvorby, spracovania, využívania a prepájania zbieraných dát zo stacionárnych a vozidlových zariadení na zabezpečenie efektívnych činností a inteligentného rozhodovania v oblastí správy, údržby a rozvoja pozemných komunikácií a prevádzky tohto systému po dobu 5 rokov.
