Original TED description
De VNG heeft sinds 2015 een mandaat om namens gemeenten landelijke raamovereenkomsten te sluiten voor hoog specialistische en weinig voorkomende vormen van jeugdhulp en Wmo ondersteuning voor mensen met een zintuiglijke beperking. Voor deze vormen van jeugdhulp en Wmo ondersteuning is landelijke inkoop noodzakelijk, vanwege het landelijke bereik, de lage prevalentie en de vereiste gespecialiseerde kennis en infrastructuur. De huidige landelijke inkoop jeugdhulp omvat 14 functies voor ongeveer 10.000 kinderen, wat totaal ca. 2% van alle kinderen in jeugdhulp - en ca. 3% van de jeugdhulpuitgaven betreft.
