Op de defensielocatie Fort Harssens is een jachthaven gelegen tussen steiger 1 en 2. Deze jachthaven is aangelegd in 1998 en heeft als hoofdgebruikers de KMJC, de havendienst CZSK en de KNRM. De huidige drijvende infrastructuur tussen steiger 1 en 2 is met de aanleg in 1998 gedateerd en de technische levensduur derhalve verstreken. De laatste jaren zijn de kosten voor (regulier) onderhoud aan de (houten)steigers en (stalen)buispalen significant gestegen. Kostenefficiënt beheer is mede hierdoor niet meer mogelijk. Daarnaast voldoen de elektrotechnische- en werktuigbouwkundige installaties op de steigers niet meer aan de huidige normeringen. Defensie heeft eind 2022 besloten om de drijvende infrastructuur te vervangen. Oppervlakte: circa 15.000 m2 bvo Disciplines: - Waterbouw, Baggerwerk, Sloopwerk, Terreintechniek, W&E (Werktuigbouwkundige installaties en elektrotechnische installaties)
