Dans le cadre du prêt-cadre pour le financement du Projet Modernisation Routière II (MRII) concernant l’amélioration de l’équipement en infrastructures routières urbaines de la Tunisie, la Direction Générale des Ponts et Chaussées (DGPC) a créé une Unité de Gestion du Projet (UGP) chargée de mettre en œuvre le Projet MRII, principalement, mais aussi deux autres projets financés par la BEI, maintenant achevés. L’objectif général du projet dont ce marché fait partie est un suivi de l'implémentation du Projet MRII par une équipe de consultants ayant une expérience dans la mise en œuvre de projets routiers, celui-ci incluant une continuation du renforcement des capacités de l’UGP. La mission d'Assistance technique aura comme principal objectif d'optimiser les prestations de l'UGP dans le cadre du suivi du Projet MRII, avec une attention particulière pour les aspects environnementaux et sociaux, la gestion de l’hygiène, la sécurité et la santé (HSS) sur les chantiers, ainsi que la sécurité routière en phase de mise en œuvre des projets, conformément aux exigences environnementales et sociales de la Banque
