Uppdraget omfattar omhändertagande och tillhörande tjänster såsom transporter, uppstallning och vidareförmedling av omhändertagna av nötkreatur, gris, får/get, kanin avsedd för köttproduktion, hästdjur, kameldjur (alpacka m.m.), fjäderfä m.fl.
