Pseudo Dynamic Purchasing System (PDPS) for Support Services for Children, Young People and Families, established by Knowsley Council and six other councils (Liverpool, Sefton, Wirral, Halton, St Helens, Cheshire West and Chester). The PDPS is split into 8 lots covering care, complex health, education, behaviour support, short breaks, family support, support planning, and other specialist services including brokerage. Duration is 10 years, with an estimated total value between £300M and £1.5B. The procedure is restricted, and tenders must be submitted for all lots. The PDPS remains open for applications throughout the 10-year period, with periodic assessment windows.
