This is a call for expressions of interest by the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) to pre-select candidates eligible to receive a donation of a Surface Science Laboratory Station (SSLS) located at JRC Karlsruhe. The facility is no longer sustainable at JRC and will be transferred through a collaborative agreement and donation contract. Only scientific/educational/non-profit organizations with a nuclear license for uranium/thorium and proven surface science experience are eligible. The expression of interest list is valid for 4 years and submissions can be made any time before the last 3 months of validity.
